Local Evangelism

Local evangelism emphasizes building genuine relationships and sharing the gospel with people in the community. This involves connecting with neighbors, coworkers, or others in everyday settings, often through sharing personal testimonies, Bible studies, or church events. At FBC Forney, we teach you how to share the gospel in one-on-one settings with unbelievers, then we provide opportunities for you to practice evangelism through events that often focus on supporting the needs of our community. Some of our local initiatives include:

Personal Evangelism Training Workshops

In just one workshop, offered several times during the year, attendees learn how to easily and effectively share the gospel one-on-one with an unbeliever. See the calendar of events below for workshop dates and times.

The distribution will occur in the back parking lot on the last Monday of the month and is now a drive-thru process. • A small advance team will do some of this.
  • Let Kirk or Brett know if you want to be a part of that small advance team.
  • Between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., the food truck delivers food, and volunteers set up tables for sorting and distribution.
  • From delivery to 9:00 a.m., Volunteers sort food items into bags or boxes and stage them on tables for distribution.
