What to Expect

The First Baptist Church Forney Christian School is a ministry of First Baptist Church Forney committed to providing quality education based on the Word of God.

Our purpose is to provide a safe learning environment for all children with certified teachers and loving parents working together to train our children through:

  • Excellent Christian Academics - We will fully integrate biblical teaching into all areas of curriculum. 
  • Robust Spiritual Formation - We instill a Christian worldview, Bible memory, and prayer in all classes.
  • Strong Student and Family Member Care - We build relationships with our students and families.

Grammar School

Our grammar school is currently offering grades Kindergarten through Second Grade. This grammar school program offers state certified teachers who love Jesus and want to teach children about Him! We are a missional school and your family does not need to attend FBC Forney or be a christian to attend.

Our plan is to expand to K-12 over time. We are committed to excellence in Christian Education and are pursuing the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Accreditation. Additionally, our grammar school program offers state certified early childhood education teachers who love Jesus and want to teach children about Him!

  • 2024-25 school year: K-1st
  • 2025-26 school year: K-2nd

FBC Forney Christian School is currently holding family interviews for incoming kindergarten, fIrst, and second grade students for the 2025-2026 school year. Please call Shelby Loeschner at 972.564.3357, ext. 228 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Preschool

FBCF Christian Preschool is state licensed and meets the standards of the TDFPS. Childcare hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. M-F. Year round.
Closed for major holidays.

Provide bus pickup at Claybon, Johnson, Henderson, Willett, and Rhea. Bus leaves FBA at 7:00 a.m.  After school pick up provided from same locations.

Curriculum for all ages (toddler - Pre-K) is: 

  • Bible based/Bible stories
  • Learning games
  • Phonics
  • Numbers
  • Language development
  • Skills Development
  • Puppets

Summer Program

  • Kindergarten-6th grade
