The First Baptist Church Forney Christian School is a ministry of First Baptist Church Forney, committed to providing quality education from a distinctly Christian worldview.

Preschool

FBCF Christian Preschool is state-licensed and meets the standards of the TDFPS. Childcare hours are year-round from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Closed for major holidays.

We provide bus pickup at Willett, Henderson, and Claybon. The bus leaves FBA at 7:00 a.m. We also offer after-school pick-up from the same locations.

Our mascot is the Cubs.

Curriculum for all ages (8 months - Pre-K) is:

Are you a high-energy, faith-driven leader with a passion for early childhood education? A premier, state-licensed preschool with a 20+ year legacy of serving families in our community is seeking a visionary Director. We serve children from infancy through Pre-K 4. In this role, you will steer our established program into its next season of growth, fostering both academic excellence and spiritual formation. You will be supported by a dedicated Assistant Director to manage daily operations, allowing you to focus on leadership, ministry, and strategic growth. 

Key Responsibilities: Lead with a Christian worldview, integrating faith-based values into the center's culture and daily interactions. Oversee compliance with all state licensing regulations, health department codes, and safety standards. Manage and mentor teaching staff alongside the Assistant Director to maintain high instructional quality. Build strong relationships with parents by providing excellent communication and pastoral care to families. Drive enrollment, manage budget allocations, and oversee marketing strategies for the legacy center. Maintain a vibrant, high-energy environment that inspires staff enthusiasm and student joy. 

 Qualifications: Faith Alignment: A dedicated Christian worldview/agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000/ a commitment to spiritual leadership in a childcare setting. Be a current member of FBC Forney Baptist Church. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a business-related field preferred. An Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education will also be considered.

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience directing a state-licensed childcare facility or working in a public school setting. Experience in operating a home-based childcare center may also be considered. Licensing: Must meet all state requirements for a Childcare Center Director credential. 

Skills: Strong organizational skills, exceptional communication, and proven experience managing a team.
