Here you will discover a warm group of people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. First Baptist Church Forney invites you to come and discover a church where family, faith and community are central. A place where you can grow in your relationships, experience authentic worship and relevant biblical teaching.

Our Sunday services, led by Senior Pastor, Nathan Lino, have been designed for you to personally encounter Jesus Christ.

Worship Services

9:15 & 11:00 a.m.
Both worship services are the same in terms of worship music and preaching. Feel free to join us at the one that best fits your needs.

LifeGroups for Adults ages 18+ offered at 8:00, 9:15 and 11:00 am.

LifeGroups for Students, grades 7-12, at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.

LifeGroups and Ministry for Children, Kindergarten – Grade 6, at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.

LifeGroups and Ministry for Birth – PreK at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.

What to Expect

A Warm Welcome

A heartfelt greeting is part of what makes a church a church. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable. When you enter the main Mall area, visit our Information Desk and let them know you are new here.

Hot Coffee

There’s nothing like the smell of good coffee (or tea) to warm you up. We have a full service coffee shop in the Mall of the Worship Center. We also provide coffee in most Bible Study classes and at the coffee bar upstairs in the Education wing.

Uplifting Worship

We love music, all kinds of music. From hymns to psalms to the latest contemporary song we use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him and to prepare our hearts for the sermon.

Ministries for all ages

We have dynamic children's and student ministries in addition to our many activities for adults of all ages!

Casual Atmosphere

We're relaxed. Come in jeans; or if you prefer, come in a suit or dress. You'll find a variety of styles here, and we like it that way.

Should I Bring a Bible?

YES. We want to teach our members to become Bible dependent so that you have the Word of God in your hands. But we also include all of the text on the screens for your convenience. You can also read the digital bulletin and sermon notes from our free Mobile App.

Your campus looks big--how do I know where I should go?

We have visitor parking spaces in front of the Worship Building (the one with glass windows and the words WELCOME at the top.) Park and enter. We have greeters at every entrance with the main Information Center located near the Worship Center. The buildings are also labeled with large letters. Feel free to ask any of our members or greeters or stop by the Information Center and tell them what you're looking for.

I like this church, how do I join?

Membership is a process that begins with connecting with a staff member. Membership is for ages 18+.

During the Service: An invitation for new members and new believers will be extended during each Sunday worship hour. Simply walk down to one of the staff members present and inform them that you would like to join.
Information Desk: There are greeters and pastoral staff at the Information Desk in front of the Worship Center before and after Sunday services. Simply inform them that you would like to join.
New Membership Class: Once a month, we have a next steps class called Explore First. Attending this class is a required step in our membership process. Check the worship bulletin, look on the website calendar or watch the screen announcements for the upcoming dates.

Who Are We?

We are a thriving and diverse community of people of all generations. Sundays are a time where we gather together to grow and worship, Tuesdays are a time of prayer and seeking the Holy Spirit, Wednesdays are for education and discipleship. We are ordinary people seeking to actually trust and follow Jesus every day.

We believe in the Baptist Faith and Message (see link below).
We believe the Bible is inspired, infallible, and inerrant, so we are passionate about text-driven preaching and teaching.
We desire the manifest presence of Jesus Christ in our church, so we prioritize praying and fasting together.
We desire all non-Christians to be saved, so we are passionate about local evangelism, global missions, church multiplication and a healthy church membership process.
We desire every believer to increasingly trust and follow Jesus through every circumstance of every day, so we are passionate about our internal discipleship model.
